Glenn Collins

Glenn Collins co-founded the firm after having spent three years as a commercial litigator in the Chicago office of the law firm of Katten, Muchin & Zavis. Although a native Chicagoan, Mr. Collins spent his formative years on the East Coast. He prepped at the Choate School in Wallingford, CT., graduating in 1981. He received his bachelors degree from Brown University in Providence, R.I., where he lettered in football as a defensive back for the Bruins, graduating in 1985. He received his law degree from Boston College Law School, graduating in 1989.

Mr. Collins attended the U.S. Army Rotary Wing Flight Training School in Ft. Rucker, AL. He received his "wings" from the Army in 1991. In 1995 Mr. Collins graduated from the Army Fixed Wing Multi-Engine qualification Course. In 2001, he graduated from the Air Force Fixed Wing Qualification Course. He is currently serving as a C-130H pilot in the Air Force Reserve.

Mr. Collins is qualified in the UH-1, OH-58 and UH-60 helicopters. He is also qualified in the U-21, C12R, T1A, and C-130E, H(2) aircraft. He has over 2200 total flight hours and has a commercial and instrument rating in addition to being Night Vision Device ("Goggle") qualified. He currently holds type ratings in the BE200, BE400, MU300, and the L-382.

Mr. Collins is admitted and practices in the State of Illinois and the Northern District of Illinois. He is a member of a wide variety of legal and aviation organizations including the USO, the Army Aviation Association of America; the Reserve Officer Association and the Chicago Bar Association.

As an attorney, Mr. Collins emphasizes practice in aviation matters including insurance defense, aircraft sales, certificate accreditation, aircraft accident analysis FAA enforcement actions and military hearings. Mr. Collins also is a partner in several real estate development projects and utilizes that experience in handling clients' real estate matters.
